We report on the House education budget committee holding a public hearing today on the proposed $6.6 billion state school spending plan. It would, among other things, provide a 2.5% pay raise for education employees. We also report on former Miss America, Mallory Hagan, announcing today that she had qualified to run as a Democrat for Alabama’s 3rd District Congressional seat.
