And I don't know, I sort of think of the band as like, two chapters.

The first chapter more or less ended like, COVID times.

Like, that was right when a lot of those members phased out and we got dropped from our label, and obviously, COVID happened, and so, it just seemed sort of like this, you know, I don't know, wall came down or something, and gradually, I found Dylan and Tamara, and drummer Andy at the time, you know, and then kind of, it's been, lineup-wise, pretty consistent.

"Dream 3", I wanted to be more resembling the demo process, but like, elevated and like, way more destructive and disposable, 'cause I just find that really exciting.

And so, I was like, "I'm gonna do it myself.

I'm gonna make this record on my own, I'll bring in my band mates, but we're gonna do it... It's not gonna be like, rehearse all the songs and then go to the studio, and then track it.

It's gonna be way more like, bring people in as needed, chop it up, bounce it down, destroy it, build it back up type of thing."

And I kind of came to the conclusion that we would at least need a studio for drum sounds.

So my friend Claire at the time was like, super down to do that, and it was meant to just be, you know, drum sessions, but then she sort of caught the vision and was basically down to let us use her studio with these like, very lo-fi kind of time consuming processes.

Processes or whatever, you know?

And so, yeah, we ended up doing the whole record with her, but it originally just started with a few drum days.
