My best friend had died of cancer and I was like hadn't played music for a while.

We had been talking and I said, I don't wanna be the nice guy anymore.

I wanna be in a band where we scream.

And I think maybe the three of us are kind of known as being the nice guys to a degree.

And so we all were like, yeah, we wanna do that.

But we planned for our first practice to be the next day.

And I think we wrote four songs, we might've written more?
