Well, first of all, I'm a slow learner, so it took me a while to figure this out, but the things that I learned are to stay connected with friends and resources to make that phone call to to do that, to to not be isolated.
Number two, every day I would give myself a micro break and I would plan it and I would look forward to it at 330.
I'm going to walk around the block.
I don't care what the weather's like but I'm going to go outside and I'm going to take a brief wal and I would look forward to it.
So no matter what I was dealing with and then finally, it was, taking a nap whenever possible, if mom was taking a nap and if I could take a five minute power nap, it made all the difference in the world.
And I stopped feeling guilty about it because I needed to recharge my own batteries the little do not disturb signs.
And then that you got it go away.
It sounds again.
And this kind of sounds selfish, but it's not because you're no good if you can't provide, if you're not in a good condition to care.
It's true.
And my kids often told me I needed to take a nap, so.
Now that you said that to them sometimes too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we all need more naps.
Okay, well, I gues it's kind of the equivalent of about an airplane where they say you know, the parents.
Should you put your own mask, oxygen mask on first, then help the kid because you're both not going to be in trouble.
And in the moment, it feels counterintuitive, but it's essential.
