Protests, largely peaceful, continue over killings by police
A new round of protests began across the nation in response to a grand jury decision to not indict a police officer in the death of Eric Garner. While the head of New York's police union called the chokehold used by officer Daniel Pantaleo a “textbook” maneuver, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio called for retraining for the city's police.
