Hal is right.
Friends do help friends!
And I, Nature Cat, solemnly promise that "we" shall help our friend Brooks travel safely to his winter home, in Honduras!
But to do this, we'll need help.
The help from one of our most special friends!
Houston: Hello Nature Cat, I hope this meets your specifications.
The Gang: Ooooooooohhh!
Houston: May I present the Ultra-Flight 3000.
It is solar powered, with a super capacity battery, so there is no need to stop or refuel.
How you like me now, huh?
Nature Cat: Houston, you've outdone yourself yet again!
Squeeks: Okay so, Nature Cat, as you can see, once we reach the Florida Panhandle, it's up to you to fly us safely across the Gulf of Mexico.
Nature Cat: Huuh.. okay...interesting plan... just one thing...That's a lotta water we're flying over!
Squeeks: Whoa, Brooks.
You really fly the Gulf non-stop?
That seems impossible cause you're so small.
Brooks: Twice a year!
Spring and Fall.
Hal: It's like you birdies are like mini, super heroes!
Brooks: Yep, we're mini-super heroes, dodging obstacles that seem to increase each year.
Tall buildings, busy roads, bright lights, bad weather, can all make our journey even more difficult.
Nature Cat: Okay gang!
Onward and into the great beyond ward!
Houston: Triple Zero Niner, you are clear for take off, over.
Nature Cat: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm Captain Nature Cat.
On behalf of the- Squeeks: You're not gonna do the thing where you talk about the altitude for the whole trip, right?
Squeeks: All systems go, Nature Cat.
Nature Cat: Thank you, my trusty co-pilot.
Nature Cat: Hmmm...I wonder what this one does?
Nature Cat: Mmmm, minty fresh!
Brooks: I can't watch!
There's too many windows!
Nature Cat: Hang on everyone!
Brooks: Did we make it?
Nature Cat: Yes, Brooks.
Just by a hair!
Daisy: Well, according to the map, we're back on course.
Houston: Triple zero niner you have a bogie approaching from the north west.
Over.
Squeeks: Roger that Tower!
Daisy what's going on?!
Daisy: Nature Cat!
Pull up!
Pull up!
Nature Cat: Hrrrggggg!
Gang: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Daisy: Phew!
Hal: Are we there, yet?
Hal: Hey look, I can see pinecones and squirrels and oooh oh oh there's a Possum!
Nature Cat: I think I'm finally getting the hang of this.
Squeeks: Uh, Captain, we need to gain some altitude here!
Quickly!
All: (Gasps) Gang: Yay!
Hurray!
Woo-hoo!
Nature Cat: Ah, whew!
That was a little too-a close-aa!
Onwards and Gulf-wards!
